Smooth and Detailed Handwriting with Stylus Pen

The monitor features projected capacitive (PCAP) touch technology which is more reliable compared to other touch technologies, allowing for smooth swipe and flick operations. In addition to the supplied passive touch pen, the monitor also accepts input from commercially available active stylus pens, so detailed notes can easily be written on a medical record.

The screen can detect up to 10 simultaneous touches so multiple people can easily operate a variety of applications.

 

Rest Your Hand on the Screen While Writing

The monitor is equipped with palm rejection which allows you to rest your hand directly on the screen without causing any unintended touch input, so you can write from a more natural position.

Palm rejection minimum activation area is 2 x 2 cm.

 

DICOM Preset Mode

The monitor comes with a DICOM Part 14 mode for which grayscale tones are preset at EIZO’s factory for the optimally displaying monochrome medical images alongside patient charts.

 

Comfort and Ease-of-Use with Fully Flat Design

The fully flat surface provides a seamless touch experience to the edges of the screen. This makes swiping motions and scrolling easy. Furthermore, the smooth surface makes cleaning fingerprints and dust a breeze.

The screen has a non-scratch surface made of reinforced glass with a hardness of 5H, making it durable for long-term use.

 

Touch Detection Control

Users can easily turn touch detection on or off by pushing the button conveniently located on the monitor's side. This helps to prevent unintended input while the monitor is not being used.

 

Quick Recovery Controls

The monitor is equipped with technology which calibrates the touch sensitivity to minimize incorrect touch response due to environmental factors and electromagnetic noise. This ensures that the screen maintains accurate touch interaction during use.

When installing for the first time, the bundled "TPOffset (software for adjusting touch panel sensitivity)" is necessary.

 

Dedicated Touch Panel Driver

In addition to Windows' standard touch panel driver, a dedicated touch panel driver is also available to support touch interaction sounds and mouse emulation. The monitor comes with built-in stereo speakers for hearing touch interaction sounds when close to the screen.

Clear View from Any Angle

The monitor uses an LED-backlit IPS panel with wide viewing angles that minimizes color shift and contrast changes even when multiple people view the screen.

 

Flicker-Free Viewing

Due to the way brightness is controlled on LED backlights, a small number of people perceive flicker which causes eye fatigue. The MS236WT-A relieves eye fatigue by regulating brightness to make flicker unperceivable.
